On September 8, we joyfully celebrate the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary — the birth of the one chosen by God to bring forth the Savior of the world.
🌸 A Celebration of Grace and New Beginnings
The birth of Our Lady marks the dawning of hope for all humanity. Born free from original sin and full of grace, Mary was prepared by God to be the pure vessel through whom Jesus Christ, our Redeemer, would come into the world.
Her nativity is not only a moment of joy for the Church, but a reminder of the beautiful plan God has for each of us — called from the very beginning to holiness, love, and service.
🙏 Solemn Celebration at Gunadalamatha Shrine
We warmly invite all the faithful to Gunadalamatha Shrine to honor the birth of our Blessed Mother, giving thanks for her “yes” to God, and seeking her maternal intercession in our lives.
🕊 Let us gather in prayer and celebration, asking Mary, Mother of God and our Mother, to guide us ever closer to her Son, Jesus.
